Camas and Soaproot are two bulb plants that can be found in the hills of the Bay Area. Camas lilies produce stalks of pointed white flowers between April and July. The ruffled-edged leaves of Soaproot emerge early in the spring. Soaproot was used in a variety of ways by indigenous natives of the Bay Area.
