Harn Soper has a big vision: to prove that big farms can sustainably care for the community and for the environment while remaining economically healthy.
That’s why he’s transforming a portion of his family’s 1,000 acre Soper Farms in Emmetsburg, IA, from producing commercial corn and soy into farming organic vegetables, free-range chicken, and grass-fed beef.
His vision is to create a 21st century farm rooted in traditional farming practices, working with natural systems but using technology to good advantage.
Over the past two years, I have worked with Harn to develop visual identities for his parent company, Soper Farms, and New Shoots, the company which sells Soper Farms products. I created the label design for Soper Farms first product, Heirloom Popcorn (which comes with a spice pack! Genius.) and had a very fun time creating the farm store’s Grand Opening poster.
I’m honored that my fruit and vegetable prints are used throughout the website and branding and that my products are being sold in their farm store.
