Comics and illustrating stories hold a great fascination for me. I love the levels of complexity the narrative adds to the illustration.  It is challenging and rewarding to find the right style, the right pacing, the right camera angles, and the right mood of the illustration to perfectly fit the story.

These are the same reasons I love storyboarding for film.  In that case, I also have to take into account the restrictions of film and the vision of the director, which adds additional layers of complexity to the project.

Of course, I also love the chance comics give me to just be random, experimental, ridiculous, funny, and otherwise weird.
